Aqua Planner Reviews

Hear what others have to say about the Aqua Planner!

In this age of digital storage and iPads on poolside it is refreshing to see a resource for swimming teachers that offers an alternative but complimentary tool.

Marisa has definitely found a niche by combining the syllabus of both swimming governing bodies and providing ample opportunity for teachers to plan, record and reflect upon their lessons. A definite positive for those starting out on their swimming teaching journey and for those more experienced teachers who, perhaps, prefer to diarise the progression of their classes.

Well done Marisa, this is a resource i would have certainly made use of during my early years of teaching.

I was so fed up with my paper notebook getting wet at poolside and wasting precious time trying to access my plans on a tablet in noisy, hot conditions. It was making my lessons stressful and disjointed.

Then, a fellow teacher recommended the Aqua Planner—and it has been a game-changer! I now have everything in one place, always at hand, and can easily carry it from lesson to lesson.

Thank you, Marisa! You’ve made my life so much easier!

Great aide-memoire and prompt tool. Being a new teacher is great but there's a lot to remember! The Lesson Planners help to focus on the teaching and not on the ‘what am I doing next’ thought process. A quick glance at the relevant teaching level Objectives pre-lessons also helps to focus - especially if you have 3/4/5 or more different levels of objectives to teach across a shift. Its all in one handy pack and using the laminated prompts by the wet poolside no longer ends in a soggy mess! Whats not to like!?

Mark Blake, Swimming Teacher

Really good and I like how user friendly they are. The only one suggestion I would make, and this is only my opinion would be to use a thicker laminate on the cards and on the front and back of the planner just to give it a bit more protection. Other than that they’re very good!
